Upcoming Events
Please note we offer two types of programs: JPD Exclusive and open to the Public.
JPD-exclusive events are open to partner organizations in the Jewish Partnership for Democracy (JPD). Not yet a partner? You can join for free to access exclusive resources, programs, funding pools, and staff expertise.
Constructive Dialogue Training Cohorts (JPD Exclusive)
A More Perfect Union is offering Constructive Dialogue Training cohorts led by experts at the Constructive Dialogue Institute.
Cohort 1 is for New York-based Jewish professionals, while Cohort 2 is for Jewish educators, program staff, or other professionals or strongly involved layleaders/volunteers managing challenging communal conversations
This fully-subsidized training will give you the practical skills for navigating hard conversations, reflecting alongside a small group of Jewish professionals committed to bridge-building. Spots are limited; each cohort can accommodate 20 participants.
Eligible participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis.
Brewing Community: Virtual Partner Forum (JPD Exclusive)
Democracy is being tested – from schools to synagogues to city halls. None of us has the full picture, but together we hold many of the pieces. Join us for our JPD Virtual Partner Forum: Brewing Community.
Community partners in the JPD are invited to grapple with the pressures facing democracy today – while building relationships, exchanging insights, and strengthening our collective capacity to respond with clarity and courage.
Together, we will explore how democratic erosion is showing up across our communities, and how we can respond — so grab a mug of your favorite warm winter beverage and settle in for an honest, energizing exchange.
We the People at 250: Renewing the American Jewish Dream Kickoff Event (Public)
America’s 250th anniversary comes at a pivotal moment in our nation’s history.
This milestone offers a chance to reflect on our past and to envision a shared future together. Join us for the launch of We the People at 250, which will provide new programs, resources, and funding opportunities – including our largest Ignition Grants ever – to lift up Jewish voices around America’s 250th anniversary. To kick off this exciting campaign, we will host a very special conversation between Rabbi Sharon Brous, Senior and Founding Rabbi of IKAR in Los Angeles, and Rabbi Jacob J. Schacter, Senior Scholar of the Yeshiva University Center for the Jewish Future.
