We the People at 250: Renewing the American Jewish Dream Kickoff Event

America’s 250th anniversary comes at a pivotal moment in our nation’s history.

This milestone offers a chance to reflect on our past and to envision a shared future together. Join us for the launch of We the People at 250, which will provide new programs, resources, and funding opportunities – including our largest Ignition Grants ever – to lift up Jewish voices around America’s 250th anniversary.

To kick off this exciting campaign, we will host a very special conversation between Rabbi Sharon Brous, Senior and Founding Rabbi of IKAR in Los Angeles, and Rabbi Jacob J. Schacter, Senior Scholar of the Yeshiva University Center for the Jewish Future. Rabbi Brous and Rabbi Schacter will discuss “Looking Back, Looking Forward: The Last and the Next 250 Years of American Jewry.” We will also have remarks from partners in the JPD discussing how Jewish organizations are commemorating America’s 250th.
