Drashing Democracy 2025: Reflecting On America During the High Holy Days

As the High Holy Days approach, our Jewish communities are wrestling with questions about our nation and our democracy, and what it all means for American Jews today and in the future.

We invite Jewish clergy to join "Drashing Democracy 2025: Reflecting On America During the High Holy Days" on Wednesday, August 6 at 1PM ET to hear from leading rabbis and explore potential themes for High Holy Day sermons.

This 90-minute webinar will provide sources, perspectives, and practical approaches for addressing challenges to American democracy from the pulpit.

Our featured speakers:

– Rabbi Sam Klibanoff (Congregation Etz Chaim, Livingston, NJ)
– Rabbi Jill Maderer (Congregation Rodeph Shalom, Philadelphia)
– Rabbi Gordon Tucker (Vice Chancellor for Religious Life and Engagement and Senior Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Israel Center, White Plains, NY)
– additional speakers to be added soon

Following the program, attendees will receive comprehensive resource packets including source sheets, recommended readings, and past sermons.

Planned in partnership with:

 – A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy
 – Central Conference of American Rabbis
