Reflections on 250 Years in America

By Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks-Herenstein Center for Values and Leadership of Yeshiva University

This publication features a collection of essays from scholars and leaders reflecting on the 250th anniversary of the United States through a Jewish lens. America has been extraordinarily good for Jewish life, but its freedoms, pluralism, and democratic institutions require active stewardship. The contributors call on Jews to celebrate America's achievements, acknowledge its imperfections, and help strengthen its future through education, civic participation, moral leadership, and service.
